The short version: I collect your email address so I can send you what you signed up for. I don’t sell it, I don’t share it, and you can leave whenever you like.
When you subscribe: your name and your email address. That is the whole list. Your password is stored hashed, so nobody can read it, including me.
If you ask to be told about the paid archive, I keep the address you typed so I can let you know if it opens up. No account is created and nothing is sent to you in the meantime.
Send you new writing and the occasional note about it. That is the only reason I have your address.
Running a site means a few companies necessarily touch it. This is all of them:
Only the ones that keep you signed in and keep forms working. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click away.
Unsubscribe from any email, or delete your account from your dashboard, which removes your details from the database. If you would rather I did it, write to hello@daniellemorrill.com and I will, and I will tell you when it is done.
I will update this page and change the date below. If it ever changes in a way that affects what happens to your address, I will email you rather than quietly editing it.
