What compounds

A life is made out of days, and most days are made out of the same handful of things. So the repeated things are the ones worth doing well.

Before I add anything I ask whether it compounds or just adds.

It runs backward too. Skipping workouts means less energy, which means more skipping. Poor sleep means worse decisions, which means worse sleep.

It is about chaining together high-quality days, where each choice makes the next one easier.

The night either sharpens or dulls tomorrow. I close the day on purpose. No grazing, no one-more loops, nothing unresolved carried into sleep. The close protects the morning.

What I am avoiding is not indulgence. It is drift. One glass becomes several without noticing. I stay in authorship by ending things on purpose.
